One Breath

First of all, I would like to say that I'm not getting into anyone's buiness. I jsut want ot say, all the rummors, drama, fighting over small things really need to stop. People have been jelous over other peopl and want to start crap about who she with what he's doing. it's childish really. I look at it like this, I here the words adult. I just need to see it. and One mor set of thought. And I hope you're not offended by this but if you are. then that means I might have struck a nerv with you. if the shoe fits ware it.

Where does hate begin? How does it grow?
Who plows the field and then returns to sow?
Who plants the seed and keeps hate alive?
In a world that longs for peace, how does hate survive?

I am a voice! I am a power!
May I be mindful whenever I see an ugly spark, with a will to be a fire.
All it takes to blow it out, is one breath from me.

Who will light the fire on the next hateful day?
Who will help a stranger? Who will turn and walk away?
Will you be there for me? Will I be there for you?
Those who hate have endless strength,
but those who care HAVE ENDLESS POWER!!!

So many fires burn from long, long ago,
fathers of our fathers, men we didn’t even know.
Who will say, “Enough! It must not burn on!”
Or will your child, with mine, tend the fire when we are gone?

I am a voice! I am a power!
May I be mindful whenever I see an ugly spark, with a will to be a fire.
All it takes to blow it out, is one breath from you and me!

Black Prince, I'm sorry, but we now have so many topics about the drama. See I totally agree with oyu, but it just doesn#t help. It's just like telling your colleagues in a job to stop bullying you. They will never stop. I agree with you, but all these topics don't help.

Before someone can start a board telling other people what to do, you need to learn to spell. I can't so that's why I have never written a board such as this. God knows I have wanted to though.

Hate is a very strong word and as for the peacekeepers, I'm sorry to say, they are wasting their time; as the human race is set to destroy itself, in whatever theatre of war it chooses..

Yes so true, but what happened to all those men who tended the fires of goodness and peace. all those men for whatever reason were sent to an early grave. it is often said that only the good die young, how sad and how true that is.

Not that I think it will help, as I already said, but the poem (I think I didn't look at it propperly when I made my first post) is really true.

And its not the men only. many women fought and died for peace. Many fought for there rite to be free, or in the case of Karen Silkwood to work in a workplace free of horrid conditions.
